Welcome to the Disco.....Terereren!!!!
Of birds in hand, pockets and kitchens.... To love songs with bouncy kicks like 'Mahabuba'. This weekend, Club Volar came alive with Muthoni, The drummer queen, releasing her brand new video "Welcome to The Disco". Curtain raisers included the likes of Camp Mulla and Dove Slimme.
The Spartans graced this event and with all the cold, we must say that the event was off the chains!! The curtains raisers set the pace and Muthoni came through with a thrilling performance. The sound was very clear and her live band backed her powerful vocals with beats that in our opinion were if not close, better than those produced in the studio.
At the end of the night we all felt like we had come from the disco. The Spartans would like to give a big thumbs up to Muthoni and look forward to her next thrilling event....Terereren!

Spartan / Fashions 4 All Connect
We would like to give a big shout out to F4A for putting some of our exclusive merchendise on their page. What an enterprising outfit they are, we think we'll do this more often.
Everyone, go out and get F4A merchendise, they get a certified nod from the Spartans. If you're down with F4A, then you're down with the Spartans.

We Own Naivasha!!!
Of Half-lit fires, quarter blankets, fake mattresses and falling tents to Hippos, guys fighting over a woman (lame), broken windscreens and barriers plus a white boy with a very strong Luhya accent, yes, strange but true.
Yes, the Spartans were at it again and this time, we did it in the wild. Pics, narratives and expletives to follow soon :-)

Birthday Weekend
The Spartans are fortunate (or unfortunate depending on which side of the fence you are sitting on) enough to have many of their members with birthdays falling on every day of one particular week. So this calls for an event called the "birthday weekend".
This is more random than Labour day, has more shots than Madaraka day and is more anticipated than Jamhuri day.... Somewhere in this great country of ours there will be chaos... Watch this space for pics, vids and scanda.... I mean stories :-)
